Had breakfast with family Saturday morning and it was GREAT as usual. Very cozy, good food and a great menu offerings. The duck Benedict with a cold brew martini is what I chose and was very impressed. Everyone else had similar experiences. The staff is always extra helpful with their attention to details and service.

My wife and I were visiting her stepson and girlfriend. They suggested the restaurant. We arrived and were sat outside. Our waitress was very informative and suggested several appetizers and meals. We chose the muscles and focaccia bread. OMG we all loved the appetizers. My stepson and I split the pork plate, while his girlfriend chooses the whole fish, wife ordered the tuna. Every thing was prepared perfect. Desert consisted of chocolate mousse and coffee martini. This place was not cheap, but well worth the time.

Sometimes I wonder why I ever go out for breakfast when I could cook up some eggs and toast at home for cheap, but then I wander into Leland House and I remember that I'm a mortal and such divine dishes like the Laffa will never be something I can create. A light fry bread is the dome resting atop the poached egg, creamy jalapeño labneh (yes, you read that right ), and scallion/sesame carhedral. It's gonna get messy, but have faith in the flavors and let go of your worldly attachments - surrender yourself to the swirls of runny yolk and yogurt, make sure every inch of your plate has been cleaned off with your bread, and don't be ashamed if you have to lick a finger clean. I can't express enough how rapturous the Laffa's flavors and texturea were to me. A number of vegan options, including a cinnamon roll that we at the table almost fought over, makes Leland an accessible and pilgrimage worthy spot for anyone. Add the fast and friendly service along with the clean, simple, sleek modern decor with that and you'll find it may just become a weekly retreat for restaurant rapture.

Pork hash was THE dish. Egg and sausage sandwich with potato bun was so flavorful and on the spicy side if that's what you're into Cocktails were good. Loved the outdoor covered seating area. Would love to go back for dinner and try the other dishes.

Service was excellent. Was checked up on often. We sat in the outside patio. It was cozy. Drinks was delicious. They had a seasonal fireside negroni (a spin on the classic) that was meant to be a hot cocktail but I requested it to be cold. Still delicious and end up having two. Every ingredient used was locally sourced and curated to reduce food waste. To mention, food is easily shareable. My favorite by far was the chicken. Dried aged for 24hrs. Extremely tender and that salsa verde marinade was to die for.

Leland is a relatively new modern farm-to-table restaurant that prides itself on each ingredient being made from scratch in the premises. The ambiance was relaxing despite being packed on a Saturday for brunch. The food is generally quite tasty and dishes get extra points for being original. If you'd like to get out of your typical diner style breakfast habit, I'd recommend you check out some of Leland's elevated plates. The snacks and shareables are especially distinctive and make for an amazing dining experience. Here's what we ordered from most to least favorite: 1. Market Crudités: I'm just as surprised that this dish was my favorite, but the cannellini bean spread was so delicious that I couldn't help get multiple helpings. The turnips and radishes are fresh and a pleasant change from your typical carrot, celery, and broccoli used as scoopers. This dish is perfect for sharing in a large group. 2. Trout Rilette: another original taste for your fish lovers out there. This time homemade chips come to your rescue to scoop up the trout spread (and squeeze of lemon), which tastes way better than it likely sounds. Another good pick for sharing. 3. Pork Shank Hash: this dish has all the right ingredients and is perfectly saucy. You get the classic, egg, potato, pork combination, but elevated with the use of jalapenõs, parmigiano cheese, and tomatillos. You can get buttered toast on the side for $2, which does come in handy because unfortunately this dish is quite small. 4. Honey toast brûlée: honestly, could have even been higher up on my list, but I generally prefer salty over sweet . This version of a French toast is far more elevated with a brûlée caramelized top, fresh ricotta, sesame seeds, and pine nuts working in harmony. The serving size for the toast is also quite small; I'd recommend complementing this dish with something salty. 5. Maple thick bacon: normally I'm not one to not enjoy a bacon dish, but unfortunately this bacon was far too salty. It felt like I was licking salt flats with each bite. The maple just couldn't make up for the saltiness. 6. Porchetta sandwich: extremely oily and salty and had a lot going on in the wrong ways. This is a heavy dish with oil oozing out of your fingers as you grab the sandwich. If you choose this sandwich, you can rest assured you'll have leftovers due to just how heavy it is. The cocktails on the menu are quite simple and rather pricey (it may be just me but $15 for a mimosa feels rather excessive). I got the Italian greyhound, which was okay but not worth the price tag. I'd skip alcohol for brunch here next time. Overall, great addition to the neighbourhood. Most dishes are quite small, but still have full dish prices. Plates are original and worth checking out if you want a change from your typical all American breakfast. Ambiance is somewhat upscale even during the day and the lots of windows brings in natural light, helping you release those endorphins.

A cute restaurant around the corner! The service was ok as it did take a while to place our order or even get water Focaccia 4.5/5 Really good bread and a great way to start the meal Melons 1/5 Honestly, didn't feel like it was worth the cost at all. It was just sliced melons and didn't stand out. I wouldn't order it again Eggplant 4/5 Super yummy and a great appetizer! Chicken 3.5/5 Although yummy, didn't feel worth the price for the quantity and quality Whole fried fish 5/5 The star of the meal! The fish was super flavorful and juicy and the sauce it was in was amazing! There was a lot of meat on it and I would definitely order that again
